Mulching, River Gravel, & Edging
Keeping your landscaping clean and your plants healthy is a great way to add value and beauty to your property. But if you really want to make your landscape come alive, edging, mulching and river gravel are what you want!
Mulch and river gravel are available in a number of varieties and hues and provide contrast to the colors in your plants and house exterior. Hand-edging by digging a trench around your flower beds provides a clear, clean definition between your bed and lawn areas and appeals to the eye with smooth, graceful lines. For a permanent edge that does not require regular maintenance, we also install a variety of physical edges, such as plastic, aluminum and stone edging. |
Mulch Varieties
There's no doubt about it: mulch looks great.
But it doesn't just make the natural colors of your plants pop. It also provides an important source of organic nutrients to your plants, helps keep beds moist---especially important during periods of drought---and keeps the ground around your plants insulated from sudden temperature changes during the winter months.

River Gravel
River gravel is an excellent way to add long-term value to your property. As a low-maintenance alternative to mulch, it is very effective at controlling weeds when applied at the proper coverage rate. And, unlike mulch, which needs to be replenished (and sometimes removed) every 1-2 years to maintain healthy landscape beds, river gravel does not need to be replenished or bothered with at all for at least 5-10 years, and sometimes less frequently than that, when installed properly. Many people who don't want to be bothered with the increased maintenance cost of mulch decide to make the switch to river gravel. Call, text, or email us today to set up a consultation to see if river gravel is for you. |

Edging
Edging is an excellent way to refine the look of an existing landscape or add finish to a new one. It can make an ordinary bed extraordinary and set your property apart. We offer a wide array of edging styles to choose from, including conventional hand edging, or permanent physical edges such as plastic, aluminum, and several types of stone. Pictured here are just some of the many varieties of edging available. Call, text, or email us today to find out more about edging. |
